The responsibilities of this position include:

• Design and develop innovative solutions using Scala and Python
• Designing and writing microservices from scratch.
• Tackle complex issues on real medical data.
• Brainstorm with the clinical team to improve the accuracy of the product.
• Design highly available and scalable SAAS solutions.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Have an active role in finding and implementing new technologies.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of development experience.
• Proficiency with modern languages such as Scala, Kotlin, Rust or Go.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with SaaS development using AWS & Kubernetes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills/ Good problem-solving skills / Team player / Attention to detail / Passionate.

Bonus:

• Experience with Python.
• Substantial experience with Scala and frameworks like Play & Akka.
• Experience with optimization algorithms and Machine Learning models.
• Contribution to open-source software.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development.
• A good understanding of reactive patterns.
• Experience with functional programming.
